Loser

We just completed our third novel. Loser is a book by award winner Jerry Spinelli. The main character in the novel is Donald Zinkoff. One word that describes Zinkoff is adventurous. The reason why I think this word describes him is because he likes go to new places and try new things. The setting of this story is 900 willow street block. These are some important facts that happend in the story. Zinkoff had field day and nobody wanted him on his team. Zinkoff had a best friend named Hector. Zinkoff had his own day and went to work with his dad. Zinkoff soccer team had won the championship game and Zinkoff gave his trophy to Andrew. Zinkoff had graduated to middle school and tumbled down when they called his name. The best part of the book was when it started to snow. If I could change any situation of the book, I would have changed it when Zinkoff had lost the race because he could have a medal and go home proud of himself. Zinkoff had many character traits during this novel. One character trait he had was he's a dreamer because he wants to be like his dad when he grows up. Another Zinkoff character trait is Zinkoff is proud to be himself. I did like how this novel ended because the boy was kinda proud to pick Zinkoff to be on his team when they was playing football.
